Well, I suppose one wants to start off one's blog with a burst of literary inspiration and just keep going. I'm going to start with a fairly boring intro post though.
The immediate purpose of this blog is to record my thoughts and experiences as I travel through the Master of Divinity degree program at Westminster Serminary California. It will, as planned, include some personal updates (though I'm not writing a LiveJournal here) and some reflections on what I'm learning. The balance will probably be on the latter.
But the chief purpose of this blog, the "final cause" if you will, is that in some way God might be glorified in it. What that might look like I don't know.
